lapseframe.

About this focused free tool

A schedule you
can account for.

Lapseframe is one browser-local calculator for the relationship between a time-lapse capture window, whole photographs and a constant-rate playback clip.

Explicit endpoints and exact arithmetic

The first exposure starts at elapsed zero. The last starts at (frames − 1) × interval, and capture-window mode includes the final shutter plus entered additional busy time. Target mode rounds up to whole frames. Exact rational comparisons avoid a boundary frame appearing or disappearing because a decimal was rounded. The original worked guide explains the assumptions and examples.

Useful limits

This is a reference plan, without a camera connection. It does not evaluate exposure, image quality, storage, battery capacity, missed shots, device support or actual achieved timing. One image becomes one playback frame; multi-shot intervals and editing changes are outside the model. Exported checkpoints are clearly sampled above twelve frames and are not timer import files.

Free and local

No payment, account or conversation is required. Calculation and file generation run in the browser. This prepared release has no active advertising, analytics or consent scripts. Publisher metadata and ads.txt prepare for possible later exact-host setup, without establishing approval, serving or income.

Portfolio contact

Lapseframe belongs to the independent free-tool portfolio that includes Yardfill. Its existing verified shared public forwarding inbox is transparently reused, rather than described as a new mailbox. Read Privacy for local inputs, ordinary hosting records and email handling.
